This hand made bottle opener is constructed out of wood end peices found around the shop. They range in size as every piece is different based on the end cut. They range from 3’-4’ tall, about 2’ deep and about 2’ wide. The material used in this project is cherry, base wood, white oak, red oak, maple, and walnut along with a steel pipe that has been sanded down with the wood for a flush finish. To finish off, a danish oil was used to seal to both the wood and steel combination and give to bottle opener a protective coat.
